The sweater is knitted from top to bottom according to various diagrams, with Thin Peer Gynt and Thin Silk Mohair.

First, stitches are added to the upper part of the back piece, which is knitted crosswise according to diagram A. Stitches are then cast off, before stitches are knitted up along the longest side of the back piece. The back piece is knitted according to diagram B down to purl. The stitches are put on an auxiliary thread and stitches are knitted on the left and right side of the front piece, which are knitted according to diagram C.
It is knitted back and forth with double pointed needles for sloping shoulders and stitches are increased for the neck, before the front pieces are knitted together. The front piece is worked back and forth down to purl. The front piece and the back piece are joined on the same circular needle and purl knit all round. The back piece and the front piece are sewn together at the sides with mattress stitches or hidden stitches. Stitches are worked up for the sleeves, which are knitted in the round with double garter stitch and finished with a long purl. The neckline is knitted at the end.
