The beautiful summer issue, Laine 25, Summer, takes its readers to a cottage by the lake - into the embrace of the forest, under the shade of birches and pines, by the calm water, and beneath the blue sky. The images perfectly capture the summer beauty of Finnish nature and cottage nostalgia.

The issue includes patterns for 12 relaxed and lightweight garments and accessories. They are knitted with various summer-appropriate yarns, utilizing many interesting techniques and stitch patterns.

Laine 25 (Summer 2025) includes:

- A profile of British yarn merchant Milli Abrams, who plans to row across the Atlantic to raise money for charity.
- An article about shepherd Stéphanie Schiffgens, who breeds Gotland sheep in Oregon, USA, to produce wool loved by knitters around the world.
- A series of interviews called "Encounters," where English knitting influencer Jeanette Sloan interviews Louis Boria (@brooklynboyknits), a New York-based knitwear designer, teacher, activist, and speaker.
- A series called "Five List," where professionals share their best tips on how to take better photos of your knits.
- A series called "Here I Knit," showcasing knitters in their favorite places. In this issue, we meet Tiina Lehtonen from Tampere, whose favorite knitting spot is her own allotment garden cottage.
